MATH DEPARTMENT

WE'VE GOT YOUR NUMBER!

Math 9.jpgWelcome to the Jehue Middle School Math Department Webpage. When it comes to numbers, we strive to come out on top. With the introduction of Common Core State Standards (CCSS), we are excited for your student to explore not only how to solve an equation, but to be able to explain in his or her own words how they came to that answer. We invite you to click on the links on this page to learn more about CCSS and to familiarize yourself with the direction our District Math Program is headed and the future classes that will be offered here and in the high school.

COMMON CORE MATH STANDARDS 6TH - 8TH

RUSD GUIDE TO THE DIRECTION OUR MATH PROGRAM IS NOW HEADED

With the changes coming in Common Core, we are now teaching Math in an integrated format. This means students will learn the principles of Algebra, Geometry, and more within the same setting. The District has created a pamphlet to explain these changes and how they will benefit our students. Please view the pamphlets located below in the Departments Locker
